Lee Jones Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee Jones of Jasper, Tennessee, who passed away on June 15, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lindsey Jones and Edith Pearl Lewis Jones; and his siblings, Edward Jones, Frank Jones, Alvin Jones, Ernestine King, Magdeline Jennings and Geraldine Pilgrim.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Wells Jones; his daughter Cyndy Smith (Sherwin); his grandsons, Brandon Jones (Kim) and Zachary McCoin (Kellie); and his stepgrandchildren, Brett Smith, Nic Smith and Alison Smith. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
At his request, in lieu of flowers, Alton wishes donations to be made to the MCHS Warriors football program in his memory.
