It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Wilson of Jefferson City, Tennessee, who passed away on June 15, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Briggs and Marguerite Briggs; and her siblings, Neilah Hopper and William Briggs, Jr.. She is survived by : her children, Sharon Martin (Ed), Brian Briggs and Leslie Vines (Jim); her brother-in-law Carl Hopper; her grandchildren, Matthew, Nathan Martin, Dylan, Jacob Briggs, Jay, Caroline, Catherine and Jack Vines; and her friend Jama Seahorn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church Street Café, Appalachian Ministries of the Smokies, or to a charity of your choice.
