With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Alpha Cox (Jefferson City, Tennessee), who passed away on December 8, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Franklin Cox; her parents, George W. Braden and Lelar Lovell Braden; and her brothers, Roy Braden and Gene Braden.
She is survived by: her children, Marcia Martin (Tony), Linda Phillips, Robert Cox, Stephen Cox (Teri) and Kristina Matthews; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Pam, Tiffany, Sarah, Stephanie, Allen, Dylan, Charity, Faith, Courtney, Lexie, Joshua, Holly and Ricky; her sisters, Maggie and Cecile; and her close friend Jennifer Davis. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Piedmont Baptist Church in Dandridge, TN to benefit the Youth.
