He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Martin and Hagar Ollie Wells Jackson; his grandchildren, Cory Matlock and Emily Matlock; and his brother-in-law Junior Felts.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Miles Jackson; his children, Marty Jackson, Bridget Matlock (Ricky) and Anita Bristol (Mike); his stepchildren, Ernest Harper (Val) and Lora Hickman; his sister Emma Jean Felts; and his grandchildren, Joe Matlock, Luke Matlock, Heather Freeman (Quintin), Alex Spicer, Jake Spicer, Wes Harper (Becca), Tess Illges (Mat) and Emily Hickman.
