He is survived by : his wife Janice Carroll; his stepchildren, Mark Hudson, Jeffrey Hudson, Ann Marie Gilbert Sisk and Robert Gilbert; his granddaughter Katherine Mathis (Eddie); his great grandchildren, Lilly and Ava; and his sister Barbara Martin.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM at the Anderson & Garrett Funeral Home (3501 Old Clarksville Pike, Joelton, TN 37080). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 1:15 PM at the same location.
