She was predeceased by: her father Edgar Strader; and her husband James Winston Kirksey, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Jim Kirksey (Phyllis) and Larry Kirksey (Terry); her grandchildren, Jamie Kirksey (Lynn), Kevin Kirksey (Stephanie), Kristin Kirksey Cobb (Tyler), Alison Kirksey Chimley (Bill) and Carolyn Kirksey Connor (Brian); her great grandchildren, Catherine Chimley, Virginia Chimley, Rylie Connor and Sydney Connor; and her caregivers, Karen Johnson, Vickie Salyer, Dr. Jean Mancini and Dr. Amanda Vanlandingham.
