He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Mae W. Robinson and Ernest L. Robinson Jr.; and his wife Tresa Robinson. He is survived by: his daughter Tori Taylor (Chris); his granddaughter Cora; his brother Michael L. Robinson (Jean); his stepsister Pam Graves (Tracy); his sibling's children, Jaime York (Ty) and Jeffery Robinson (Renee); his girlfriend Hope Phillips; his grandchildren, Nataleigh Ollis, Malik Thomas, Aubree Nelson, Michael Phillips and Bentley Phillips; and his pet Flozzie. He is also survived by grandnieces and grandnephews, and many cousins.
