We bid farewell to Dorothy Lester McCombs of Johnson City, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 24, 2025 at the age of 91. Dorothy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Burke and Dorothy Burke; her siblings, Bill Burke and JoAnn Burke (Bill Lester); and her daughter Rebecca Lester (Donald McCombs).
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Lester (Nancy) and Gary Lester (Shelley); and her grandchildren, Laura Lester James, Torrey Lester, Michael Charles Lester, Lea Lester Jackson and Jena Lester Wilcoxson. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
