He is survived by: his sister Bernice Templeton; his son James Hopson; his sibling's children, Jody Posey and Sue Coffey; and his grandchildren, Leah Hopson, Briella Hopson, Eastyn Hopson, Jennifer Hopson, Kelly Harris and Ashley Wyatt. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
