He was predeceased by: his former wife Carolyn Kilgore; and his parents, Charlie Kilgore and Letha Kilgore. He is survived by: his wife Thelma Williams Kilgore; his children, Kathy Clowers (Teddy) and Terry Kilgore (Robin); his grandchildren, Kelly (Brandon Kilday), Nikki (Brad Tweed) and Chris Cox; his great grandchildren, Waverly Kilday, Tyler and Ashley Cox; and his stepchildren, Verna Gail, Steve West and Patty Woods.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 9:45 AM. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Greenelawn Memory Gardens (4159 Asheville Hwy, Greeneville, TN 37743).
