We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2024, at the age of 70, Joel Dean McKinney (Johnson City, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Harlow McKinney and Anna Ruth McKinney; his brother Mike; and his son Joshua McKinney. He is survived by : his wife Sandra Hilbert; his daughter Sarah McKinney; his siblings-in-law, Debbie Beard (Mike), David and Chris Hilbert; his nieces and nephews, James McKinney, Dennis McKinney (Denise), Kelley McKinney, Melanie Rogers (Glen) and Shannon Nelson (Andy); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hayden, Logan Rogers, Drew Nelson, Connor McKinney, Emily McKinney, Reilly McKinney, Morgan Rogers and Emily Nelson.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Morris-Baker Funeral Home (2001 E Oakland Ave, Johnson City, TN 37601). A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
