It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Conroy George Jr. of Johnson City, Tennessee, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John C. George, Sr. and Jane Alice Knott George; and his brothers, Patrick George and Brian George. He is survived by : his wife Cathryn Keyser George; his children, John C. George III, Brian P. George, Stephen J. Winkler and Renee J. Krampetz (Scott); his grandchildren, Adeline, Amelia, Scotty and Ariana; his niece Allison George (Tim Kates); and his sister-in-law Gail Keyser (Andy). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Morris-Baker Funeral Home (2001 E Oakland Ave, Johnson City, TN 37601). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery (53 Memorial Ave, Mountain Home, TN 37684).
