With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juanita Singer Covington (Johnson City, Tennessee), born in Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on June 1, 2018 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Roy Franklin Covington; her daughter Cindy Ann Covington Staggs; and her siblings, James Edward Singer, Nelson C. Singer, Robert Coleman Singer, Huston Singer, Jr., LaVerne Webb Whitehead and Helen Vice.
She is survived by : her daughter Darlene Young; her son-in-law Garland of Jonesborough, TN; her granddaughters, Lindsay Ann Young of Johnson City, TN and Alicia Staggs; her son-in-law Larry Staggs of Lexington, KY; her great grandchildren, Connor McKinney and Ada McKinney; and her brother Raymond Singer (Charlotte) of Cynthiana, KY. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Gideons International or the Alzheimer's Association of Northeast Tennessee.
