She is survived by : her husband Mark Trent; her children, William Randolph and Ali Stewart (Sam Stewart); her grandson Maverick Stewart; her parents-in-law, Sherrill and Carolyn Trent; her stepchildren, Sarah Trent (TJ Ferradji) and Aaron Trent; her brother Donnie Wallen (Michelle Wallen); and her nephew Cody Wallen.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Karen's grandson, Maverick's college fund may be made.
