He was predeceased by: his father Geisler; and his sisters, Betty Mensch and Teresa Smith. He is survived by: his wife Connie; his mother Bessie Giesler of Piney Flats; his sister Carol Overstreet of Bluff City; and his stepchildren, Allen Hamm, Tammy Garrison (Mark) of Watauga, Gail Feagans (Tony) of Unicoi, Lori Benfield (Jamie) of Elizabethton, Angela Austin (Ron) of Piney Flats and Danny (Gina). He is also survived by many step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
