Nellie June Smith left this world on April 16, 2024 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by : her parents, Raud Smith and Nellie Smith; and her husband Ralph Walter McEwen. She is survived by : her daughter Linda Cole (Harold) of Johnson City; her granddaughter Rebecca Allen (Rusty) of Raleigh, NC; her great grandchildren, Chandler and Madison Cole; her nieces and nephews, Pat, Nelda, Joy, Lou, Steve and Don; her close friends, Marcella Isaacs, Carolyn Lyon and Junior McQueen; her caregivers, Jessica Ward, Thomas Ledford, Treva Buckner, Alexis Lunsford, Aime Markland, Chaplain and Matt; and also Becky.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Tetrick Funeral Home (211 N Riverside Dr, Elizabethton, TN 37644). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
