It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Victoria Ann Brooks Douglas (Johnson City, Tennessee), who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Poole Sawyer and John Brooks; her husband Jimmy Douglas; her grandparents, Tom and Bertha Poole; and her sisters, Willie Mae Black and Johnie Belinda Calloway.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Ann Douglas and Adam Lee Douglas; her close friend Craig Reed; her siblings, John T. Brooks, Roger D. Brooks, Harry Young, Rita Chapman (Jerry), Diane Brooks, Nicilee Fate, Vanessa K. Washington and Anita Gammon (Manuel); and her caregiver Janice Smart. She is also survived by nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Birchette Mortuary & Cremation Service, Inc. (219 E Millard St, Johnson City, TN 37601). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
