It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Frederick Burgess of Johnson City, Tennessee, born in Jackson, Alabama, who passed away on October 13, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethelbert Burgess and Esther Burgess; his former wife Janet Burgess; and his son-in-law Alan A. Young. He is survived by: his daughter Leslie Clifton (Calvin); his grandchildren, Megan Napier (Collin) and Peyton Clifton (Lindsey); his great grandchildren, Llewyn Napier, Kellen Napier and Ella Clifton; and his friends, Dwayne, Donna Johnson, Keith Hood and Dr. Angela Merrifield.
