He was predeceased by: his parent Lewis Sparks, Jr.; his daughter Pamela Jane Sparks; his brother Jeff Sparks; his nephews, Marty and Vestil Miller; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Miller.
He is survived by: his parent Betty Bennett Sparks; his daughter Jennifer Tipton of Johnson City; his brothers, Gary Sparks (Jackie), Sulphur Springs and Dusty Miller; his half-brothers, Tom Sparks and Jack Sparks; his sisters, Doris Wigand of Johnson City and Judy Stanley (James) of Johnson City; his half-sister Jean Keys (Clay); his grandchildren, Tiffany Coffey (David) and Billy Tipton; his great grandchildren, Tomas Coffey, Aden Coffey, Josef Allen Coffey and Dayla Shaw; and his nieces, Penny Shaw and Gayle Arrowood. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
