Athleen Franklin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Athleen Franklin (Jonesborough, Tennessee), who passed away on July 25, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Roscoe Phillips; her grandson Michael Keith Franklin; and her siblings, Lloyd Phillips, Guy Phillips, Floyd "Jack" Phillips and Josie Roberts.
She is survived by: her parent Mima Phillips; her spouse Lattie Franklin; her children, Michael R. Franklin, Danny Franklin (Carlene), Michelle Franklin of Jonesborough and Melanie Franklin of Jonesborough; her siblings, Ed Phillips (Lynda), Alma Fender, Erwin Harris and Elva Harris; her grandchildren, Allen Hicks, Charley Ryans, Kaitlyn Franklin and Ethan Franklin; Unicoi. She is also survived by three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made in memory of Athleen to Pentecost Independent Freewill Baptist Church, Kingsport.
