She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Carter and Emma Hillard Carter; her siblings, George Carter, Minnie Aiken, Ruth Carter and Mary Carter; and her nephew Ronnie Carter.

She is survived by: her sibling's children, David Carter (Darlene) of Whitesburg and Kay Orloff. She is also survived by several great nephews and nieces and great-great nephews and nieces.
