Betty Ann Storey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ann Storey (Jonesborough, Tennessee), who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, D. R. Cloyd and Edna Katherine Cloyd; her husband Preston Storey; and her siblings, Mary White (Clay), Eula Vines (Noah), Cleo Humphreys (Cecil), Frank Cloyd, Samuel Cyrus Cloyd (Katie), Letha Deakins (Stanley), Mildred Keplinger (Wayne) and John Cloyd (Jean).
She is survived by: her close friends, Betty Barnett and Betty Tester; her children, Kathy Storey and Richard Storey (Kim); her grandchild Hilary Storey; her daughter Traci Potter (Ryan); her stepgrandchildren, Sean Hoyle and Toby Hoyle (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Reagan, Landon and Beckham Potter; her stepgreat-grandson Avery Hoyle; and her caregivers, Rita Garst, Kim Storey, Lena Tittle and Beth Smith.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Embreeville Church of Christ (4343 Hwy 81 S, Erwin, TN 37650). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Roselawn Memory Gardens (3033 S Roan St, Pine Crest, TN 37601).
