He was predeceased by: his parent Avery Bailey; and his sisters, Jean Steinman, Geraldine Bailey, Sue Banner and Ruth Swatzell.
He is survived by: his parent Birdie Hensley Bailey; his wife Virginia Bailey; his son David Bailey of Limestone; his daughter-in-law Pam Bailey of Limestone; his grandchildren, Jodie, Dylana, Miley and Emily; his great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Tayla and Karalee; Jonesborough. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
