He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Daniels and Allen Dickson; his wife Claretha; and his brother Stevie Daniels. He is survived by: his daughters, Keitha Thompson, Donna Gillespie Olujani (Kaaria) and Angie Gillespie; his grandchildren, Erik Davis (Andrea), Doniqua Joyner, Essence Joyner (Maria Soto) and Ronquille Joyner; and his great grandchildren, Deon and Lyla. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethel Christian Church (701 Depot St, Jonesborough, TN 37659). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at the Lane Memorial Cemetery.
