She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence R. Painter and Nannie Ruth Hunt Painter. She is survived by: her husband Jim France of Jonesborough; her son John David France of Jonesborough; her granddaughter Madeline Paige France of Asheville, NC; her sisters, JoAnn Painter of Chuckey and Reba Thompson of Chuckey; and her brother-in-law Wayne France (Jean).

Memorial donations may be made to Marvin's Chapel United Methodist Church 1882 Old Boones Creek Rd. Johnson City, TN 37615.
