He was predeceased by: his parent Herbert Bowlin; and his brother Jerry Bowlin. He is survived by: his parent Naomi Carver Bowlin; his wife Barbara Bales Bowlin of Jonesborough; his children, Scott Bowlin and Susan Constable; his son-in-law Mike Constable; and his grandchildren, Jessica Constable, Heather Constable and Abigail Bowlin. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
