We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2025, Georgie Lee Poore Haynes (Jonesborough, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hiram Poore and Margie Poore of Jonesborough; her friend Nan Foster; her children, Nathan Haynes (Susan) of Telford and Sarah Haynes of Limestone; her grandchildren, Kati Garst and Kaden Haynes; her close friend Norma Street; her pet Izzy; her siblings, Tilman Poore (Sue), Nettie Jean Beckett (Danny) and Ruby McCurry (Dale); her siblings-in-law, Robert and Lorraine Ollis; and her husband Jack. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home (418 W College St, Jonesborough, TN 37659).
