We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2018, at the age of 88, James R. Jones (Jonesborough, Tennessee), born in Johnson City, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Lincoln Jones; and his siblings, Peggy Jones, Jack Jones, Bill Jones and Gary "Gab" Jones.
He is survived by: his parent Margaret Hopson Jones; his son David Jones of Gray; his siblings, Sharon Mers of Burlington, NC and Roy Jones (Betty) of Gray; and his close friend Jay Dee Slagle.
