She is survived by: her parent Juanita Cox Whitaker; her children, Chad Higgins (Lindsey), Carroll Higgins, Frank Higgins (Connie), Melinda Smith, Jennifer Thomas (Jeff) and Samantha Spencer (Jeff); and her granddaughter Tesla Durbin.
