He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Kirtley and Cecilia Kirtley; and his siblings, Lovella Nix, Everette Kirtley and Fred Kirtley.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Ferguson Kirtley; his children, Kenneth Kirtley, Jr. (Rosa), Gary McIntosh (Julie), Patricia Kish, Judy Lowery and Jayne Condron; his siblings, Ann McKinnion, Bob Kirtley, Leonard Kirtley and Jim Kirtley; and his grandchildren, Heather McIntosh, Ryan McIntosh, Brandon Hinds, Leslie McIntosh, Mark Marlo, Sarah Baker (Aaron) and Sadie Kirtley. He is also survived by grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren;; and several nephews and nieces.
