He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Trzil and Mary Trzil. He is survived by: his wife Sheri Trzil; his sons, Zachary Trzil (Samantha) and Jonathan Trzil (Hannah); his grandchildren, Boaz and Luna; and his brother Paul Trzil (Jean). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cedar Creek Baptist Church (262 Cedar Creek Rd, Johnson City, TN 37615). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home and Memorial Park (2630 TN-75, Blountville, TN 37617).
