He is survived by: his parents, Elmer Peters and Vera Peters (Charles); his son Steven Peters; his brother Terry Peters; his siblings-in-law, Clarence Atkins and Dee Peters; his wife Marcia (Bowers) of Jonesborough; his children, Jason Peters of Shipshewana, IN, Jeffrey Peters and Andrea Bowers; his grandchildren, Daniel Peters, Kayden Peters, Ryann Peters, Taylon Bowers and Tenley Bowers; and his siblings, Phyllis Zweygardt, Erma Atkins, Karen Winter, Vickie Engel, Larry Peters, Roger Peters, Rod Peters, Rick Peters and Randy Peters. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Johnson City, TN, or to Ballad Home Health Hospice Care, Johnson City, TN.
