He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rutherford Louie Adkison and Jewell Adkison McCullough; his brother Joe Adkison; his children, Shara Adkison Gilreath (Tracy Gilreath) and Michael Glenn Adkison; his brother Keevan Adkison (Colletta Patterson-Adkison); his grandchildren, Cierra Sloop (Matthew Sloop) and Hannah Gilreath; and the mother of his children Karen McClendon Adkison.
