It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nina Ruth Simerly Hughes (Jonesborough, Tennessee), born in Johnson City, Tennessee, who passed away on November 6, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Loda G. Broyles and Bessie Bowman Broyles; her former husband Roy G. Simerly; her husband John W. Hughes; her brothers, Billy J. Broyles, David Broyles and Harold Broyles; and her nephew Tim Broyles.
She is survived by: her son Larry; her daughter-in-law Barbara Simerly; her grandchildren, Brian Simerly (Kathy), Christopher Simerly (Maureen) and Stacy Payne; and her great grandchildren, Marissa Payne and Mason Payne. She is also survived by four nephews, two nieces, several cousins, great & great-great nephews & nieces, and loving friends.
