He is survived by: his daughter Sherri Sparks (Stephen); and his grandchildren, Megan Backers, Audra Vance (Joshua), Noah Backers, Micah Backers, Stephanie Sparks and Taylor Sparks. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
