She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil "Pete" and Lillie Parks Gillen; her husband R. C. Nidiffer; her brother James "Buck" Gillen; her great grandchild Todd Gillen; and her sister-in-law Becky Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Lyle (Marvin), Donne Shipley (Anita), Cecil "Buddy" Shipley (Georgia), Rose Mary Ellis (Jason) and Roy "Cotton" Nidiffer (Sami); her stepmother Ellen Phillips; and her siblings, Eddie Gillen (Sandra), Brenda Ford (Don), Vickie Gillen, Sarah Arrowood (Alvin), David "Buster" Gillen (Malinda), Lillie Hinkleman (Mark), Sheila Carroll (Dan) and Wes Gillen. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
