He was predeceased by: his parent William C.. He is survived by: his parent Willie Ruth Ford Cookenour; his spouse Linda Perry Cookenour; his son Stephen Cookenour (Sarah) of Jonesborough; his grandsons, Jackson Cookenour of Jonesborough and Stephen Cookenour of Jonesborough; his siblings, Steven Cookenour of Abingdon, VA and Sharon Cookenour of Johnson City; his sister-in-law Joyce Perry Turner of Jonesborough; and his brother Darrell Lett. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

In-lieu-of flowers, donations may be made in Stan's name to the church.
