It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Jilton (Jonesborough, Tennessee), who passed away on January 5, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas Jilton to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Jilton and Jubal Jilton; and his brothers, Ned D. Jilton Sr. and Ted Jilton. He is survived by: his children, Samona McMillan (Craig) and Jonathan Robert Jilton; his grandchildren, Sabryna, Skylar McMillan, Jubal and Jocelyn Jilton; and his brothers, Mickey and Billy Joe Jilton. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Bob was diagnosed with prostate cancer that spread which he fought valiantly for many years and was diagnosed with Covid in Dec. The complications from Covid and his long illness combined proved too much to overcome.
