He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Emmerson and Louise Ferguson McCurry; his grandson Hunter Briggs; and his nephew Clay Thomas Collins. He is survived by: his wife Jeanene Bryant McCurry; his daughter Carrie Lewis (Stephen); his grandchildren, Carter Lewis, Eli Lewis and Isaac Briggs; his sister Jane Collins; his sibling's children, Rodney Collins, Jason Collins, Eric Collins (Mendy), Sadee Collins and Sophee Collins; his mother-in-law Rovenia Bryant; and also Missy Briggs.
