He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth W. Tester and Helen B. Woodruff Tester; his sister Anita "Lulu" Ball; and his niece Kimberly Dawn Watson. He is survived by: his brother Johnny "Butch" Banks (Ginger); his sibling's children, Jaime, Ginny and John; and his pet Kenya.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Washington County Animal Shelter, 3411 North Roan Street Johnson City, TN 37601.
