It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Thomas Hanley (Karns, Tennessee), who passed away on January 12, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Hanley, Sr and Nell Raby Hanley Scalf; his granddaughter Kaitlyn Loveday; and his brothers, James Hanley (Jimmy) and Jerry Hanley.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Scarbrough Hanley (Bo); his children, Renee Hanley Loveday, John Hanley, Jr. (Tom), Steven Hanley (Lynda) and Ryan Hanley; his grandchildren, Kristyn Loveday, Kailyn Loveday, Allen Hiatt and Amber Long; his great grandchildren, Ayla Johnson, Elijah, Brayleigh Hiatt, Ashlynn and Jaiden Hiatt; his sister-in-law Shirley King; and his siblings, Don Hanley of Oak Ridge, Pat Dowdy (Dave) of Knoxville and Peggy Wooliver of Straw Plains.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made on behalf of John T. Hanley, Sr. to New Victory Baptist Church or Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
