She was predeceased by: her mother Iva Marie Ball Adams; and her great grandchild Zachary Beachley. She is survived by: her husband Sherrill Vaughn; her children, Connie Burleson (Jim), Diane Byrd (Dick) and Gary Vaughn (Myra); her grandchildren, Nikki Beachley (Mykal Williams), Allen Byrd (Brandi), Karissa Deal (Jason Pennington), Rebecca Burleson, Rachael Burleson and Sarah Burleson (Isaac Huntoon); and her brothers, Jerry Adams (Brenda) and Paul Adams (Doris). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home (117 E Charlemont Ave, Kingsport, TN 37660). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Walnut Chapel Cemetery (1934 State Rte 704, Gate City, VA 24251).
