She was predeceased by: her parents, L. W. Dobson (Jimmie) and Emma Lou McIllwain Dobson; her husband Harold; her brother John McIllwain Dobson; and her brother-in-law John Earl Childress.
She is survived by: her children, Watt Childress (Jennifer), Larry Childress (Karen) and Beth Correll (Chad); her grandchildren, Willa (Miriam), Roan, Elliott, Susana, Foster Childress, Carson (Grace), Hayden and Spencer Correll; and her siblings-in-law, Martha Childress Pierce, Carolyn Dobson and Bob Childress (Dawn). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
