Francis Ledford Childers Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis Ledford Childers of Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on August 8, 2022 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Francis Ledford Childers to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parent Francis Marion; his daughter Cheryl Kay Reed; and his siblings, Patsy Byrd, Charles, Ernest and Alton Childers.

He is survived by : his wife Joyce "Jerree" Childers; and his daughters, Trina Powers (Fred) and Neysa Childers (Andy Worrell). He is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the Childers family has requested that donations be made in Francis's memory to St. Matthew United Methodist Church 2505 Nathan St. Kingsport, TN 37664 or to the FL Childers Nature Trail at Rock Springs Elementary School.
