Glenna Moneyhun Herron Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Glenna Moneyhun Herron of Kingsport, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 26, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil Herron; her parents, Richard Moneyhun and Annie Moneyhun; and her brothers, Harvey, Wayne, Bobby and Elmer.
She is survived by: her children, Jay Herron (Shannon) of Kingsport and Melissa Ross (Dwayne) of Fall Branch; her grandchildren, Jessica, Angela, Chelsea, Misty, Amber, Michael and Melissa; and her siblings, Dan, JC (Tommy), Billy Moneyhun, Clifford Cole (Bud), Susie Williams and Joan Doran. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parker's Chapel Church (425 Parker Dr, Kingsport, TN 37660). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Parkers Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church (2049 Greenway St, Kingsport, TN 37660).
