It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ivan Nelson Gilliam Sr. of Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on June 7, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Christopher Gilliam and Laura Gilliam; his wife Sonna Kay Gilliam; and his siblings, Milburn Gilliam of Napolean Gilliam, R. C, Albert Gilliam and Virginia Gilliam Hubmann.

He is survived by : his children, Lisa G. Gilliam (Bobby Baker) and Ivan Gilliam Jr.; his grandson Jacob Gilliam (Grace); his sister Eleanor Short (Charles); and his close friend June Stone. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
