She was predeceased by: her parents, Remus Watson and Mary Tate Bland; her husband James Earl Ellis; her daughter Doris; and her siblings, Mary, Eva, Earl and Wayne.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Huff (Steve) and Roger Keith Ellis (Michelle); her grandchildren, Jason (Theresa Huff), Adam (Alicia Ellis), Benjamin (Emily Ellis), Anna (Sam Buisch), Isaac (Emilea Ellis) and Jacob (Anna Ellis); her siblings, Frances Ellis, Eugene Bland, Harvey Bland and David Bland; her friend Sherry Estep; and her caregivers, Susan Pendleton, Alice Begley and Connie Lane. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home (117 E Charlemont Ave, Kingsport, TN 37660). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 12:45 PM. A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Wills Cemetery.
