It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joshua Pierce Adkins of Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away on March 18, 2023, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgie Chase and Kenneth Adkins; and his siblings, Kenny Adkins and Jessica Adkins. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Starnes, Kierstyn and Kurstin Adkins; his stepfather Steve Chase; his siblings, Jeanene Steadman, Stephanie Chase and Brian Chase; and his siblings' children, Cody Adkins, Sara Hensley, Luke Hensley, Sagan Fleenor, Anna Fleenor and Hailey Chase.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to assist with funeral expenses may be made to Trinity Memorial Centers.
