Though Judy Anne may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Judy Anne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Hix and Nancy Heck Tunnell; her husband R. L. Blevins; and her daughter Beverly Dawn Grills. She is survived by: her son Rick Hurd (Joyce); her sister Margaret Larken (Ben); and her aunt Nancy Heck. She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the East Lawn Funeral Home (4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, TN 37664). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the East Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park (4997 Memorial Blvd, Kingsport, TN 37664).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Judy's memory be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
