She was predeceased by: her husband John Ray Hunley; her daughter Mary Sue Hunley Bishir; her parents, Marshall Russell and Mary Sue Cody; and her siblings, Patsy Kinsler, Marshall "Buddie" Russell and Robert "Bob" Russell.
She is survived by: her caregiver LaDonna Seifert; her children, Tony Branham (Tona), Ann Branham and Cathy Emery (Tom); and her caregiver Hannah Salyer. She is also survived by several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home (320 Grandview St, Church Hill, TN 37642). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 1:15 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Hilltop Mission Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the funeral home in the form of contributions toward the funeral expenses.
